A simple breakdown of the referral process to Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership and what happens next.
Getting a Referral
Patients access our services via a referral from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. For X-ray and Ultrasound the usual route of referral is through a GP practice. For DEXA scans you may either be referred by your GP practice or via East Sussex Healthcare Trust.
Service Locations
We are the only provider of DEXA along the East Sussex coast with machines at our Eastbourne site and in Hastings. For Ultrasound we currently provide clinics in different locations throughout East Sussex. X-ray is available at our Eastbourne site. All services are available to any patient living in East Sussex.

Whilst the majority of GP practices refer patients into the hospital, patients may find attending Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership more convenient due to ease of parking and our ability to offer appointments rapidly.
Booking & Attending Your Appointment
Patients have a choice of when they have their appointment as all appointments are made over the phone with confirmation messages sent via text or email. If you would like to be seen at Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership, please discuss with your referring clinician.
