Operations Manager
Born in the 1970s with Cystic Fibrosis, I was not expected to live into adulthood, but thanks to advances in science and regular diagnostics, I now lead a full and active life. I began my career at 18 within pharmaceuticals at the local hospital and have since held roles in medicines management and primary care commissioning across Surrey and Sussex. In 2024, I became responsible for leading Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership. I am passionate about ensuring timely access to high-quality diagnostics, with patients being seen quickly in a safe and caring environment. Drawing on both professional experience and personal insight (I continue to have 6 monthly chest x-ray, annual liver ultrasound and 3 yearly DEXA scans), I am committed to developing efficient, compassionate, and patient-centred services that deliver the best possible health outcomes for our community. I am also determined to raise awareness to colleagues in general practice of the diagnostic services we provide. Many of whom are unaware that we can be referred to as an alternative to hospital, our location is very convenient for patients to access.

Our experienced Radiographer Team provides expert diagnostic imaging services, including general X-rays and DEXA (bone density) scans. Comprised of fully qualified and HCPC-registered radiographers, our team is committed to delivering the highest standard of care and accurate imaging results.
Working closely with your GP or referring clinician, our radiographers ensure timely and precise scans, helping to support faster diagnosis. We prioritise patient comfort and clear communication throughout the process, ensuring a smooth and reassuring experience.

Sonographers
Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership has a group of Sonographers working across East Sussex. All our Sonographers have significant experience working in both hospital and community settings. The Ultrasound service provided is non obstetric.
Working closely with your GP or referring clinician, our Sonographers ensure timely access and accurate scans, helping to support faster diagnosis. Our Sonographers ensure that the report following each ultrasound is completed on the same day, with the results sent back to the referrer usually within one or two working days.
With a focus on professionalism, clear communication and comfort, our Sonographers aim to make your visit as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
We are bringing this service closer to patients, operating from GP practices across Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford.
Administration and Reception
We also have a team of hard working administrators ensuring patients are booked in for appointments at a time which is convenient and reports following scans are sent out in a timely way. In addition we have a friendly, welcoming team of receptionists who are always available to help patients and staff when required, even if it is demonstrating how to use the complementary coffee machine!!
A communication with a link to the website is being sent out by NHS Sussex on Friday 17th October to 156 GP practices. Therefore, if the changes could take effect before then, I would be very grateful.
