Eastbourne Healthcare Partnership is pleased to support Abi and Jamie Bedwell. Abi and Jamie are triathletes living and training in Eastbourne, making the most of the fantastic local environment including the South Downs national park, Eastbourne seafront and Friston Forest. They both train with Team Bodyworks, a British triathlon centre of excellence, based at Eastbourne college.
Abi and Jamie turned professional in 2023 and since then have competed around the globe in Ironman competitions. In the same year as earning her professional licence, Abi earned a spot to the 2024 Ironman 70.3 world championships in New Zealand, by placing second at Ironman Ireland. They both hope to continue competing on the world stage for many years to come and place their Christian faith at the centre of their performance lifestyle. Their "FuelledbyFaith" trisuits and kit an expression of their beliefs.
